Whoa, Its been a weird month on my health at least, (Nothing too serious, guys 🙏🏼). I’m firmly planted within God, all things become new.
I wanted to share some of what I do daily to keep my mental health under control. Quiet the traffic in my mind to refresh and re-energize. I hope these will help you as well!
Many years prior I kept a digital journal, but fell off my passion to write due to life. After my last relationship ended, a friend of mines suggested to keep a prayer journal. Which in all honesty, I didn’t know where to start. I just started writing until I got it all out of my system. When the Holy Spirit revealed a verse to me, I would meditate and write about it. This has help me empty my mind for the night and sleep peacefully.
I’ve gone into genres of spirituality, more specific about how to become a prayer warrior. It’s been very refreshing to identify who I am in Christ and learn my purpose. This is also my source of escaping the world and the flesh, pouring more into my spirit. It serves as inspiration, focal verses to meditate on or send prayers of encouragement to others. Plus, reading increases vocabulary and helps to inspire my passion to write.
Briefly, I created a prayer binder (a full post about this later). Spending time with God in a quiet space, I can unleash all of my questions and burdens. My armor against the enemy. Battle Prayer Strategy in the works with Gods help!
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.-Matthew6:6
