Monthly Goals: September

Where did summer go? 😢😰

I feel no matter how much you prepare, time passes and it isn’t slowing down. Enjoy every moment and please put down the phone once in a while. Everything doesn’t have to go on instagram or snapchat. Be in the moment and cherish the time you’re given.

Attention: This is only day 4 of September. Don’t believe the hype that the year is almost over. It’s not! The best is coming very soon. Stay tune! Blessing are coming!

My current goals:

Healing

I haven’t been to the gym in the last 3 weeks. Minor shoulder injury, possibly from improper formation during yoga or weight class. Thankfully, x-rays shown no damage, but I did experience muscle stiffness. It’s been hard to get back into a routine. 🥺😢 I think what would work is if I can commit to twice a week. I’m also training for another event. Wish me luck!

Boundaries

I learned a valuable lesson recently. I made the decision since last year to wait until marriage for intimacy. So, I reconnected with my ex, but I finally decided it was time to walk away. He was drawing me into temptation, even after I asked him to stop. I felt pressured and uncomfortable. Among other things, I couldn’t express myself comfortably. I don’t want to fix anyone to fit into my ideal of a man. I wasn’t going to compromise to fit into his world. I value the relationship with God. This experience allow me to accept that some people come into our lives for a season. Walking away from this relationship would benefit both of us. It’s hard to tell someone No. I don’t like rejection, but I rather be truthful.

Balance

There is a lot on my plate. I am wearing new hats this season. Being a teacher, leader, mentor, and writer, it can be overwhelming or underwhelming (I don’t know the difference, 😆). I was gifted this incredible journal by a dear friend. Each page contains a scripture, at the bottom. It gives me peace to put my thoughts onto paper. I recommend this journal, Proverbs 31:25 the binding is beautiful and soft. The verse is encouraging.

I’m still sticking to the complete 3 task each day. I feel less stressed and more accomplished. There’s no need to keep doing more work when you haven’t finished the ones you’re working on currently. Even I know my limits on how much I can handle. Try to schedule Me-Time, at least once a week.

Dating

Honestly, I’m open to suggestions or advice? I’m praying and relying on God. I know its all on Gods timing, divine connection, and when I least expect. 🙏🏼  God does things unexpectedly, I do like surprises. But, geez the waiting ain’t easy.

I’m open to blind dates, never been on one. No dating apps, not searching on social media, and church doesn’t have single men. I’m not going to hunt for a man. I believe in being courted. Chivalry isn’t dead.  


Journaling helps to empty the weight of each day. Sometimes I get my best ideas while writing in my journal. Once, I’m done getting my thoughts onto the pages, I feel calmer. Does this really work? Since getting rid of the stored toxins in my body, my digestive system can resume natural order. Lots of food linger in your system, especially if you have a hard time going everyday. Could be why you feel sluggish, bloated, or feel weighed down.   1. Great goals Tiffany, wish you the best with them, hope your shoulder gets better soon. I was on a blind date once, that was it for me, never again. Not that blind dates are necessarily bad, just didn’t work for me. Trust God, His timing is perfect, he has someone right for you.
