We’ve endured a lot this week, and yet here we are. I’ve had a compact schedule and assignments due. So glad the weekend is finally here. We made it. We conqueror another work week and hopefully look forward to the weekend. The weather where I live says it’ll be a rainy, but I will still find ways to enjoy it. I want to take time to share some highlights which brought joy to my heart.
- I am grateful to my mom who checks in on me throughout the week, she always calls me by my nickname.
- I am grateful to have gotten my hands on my favorite candles from Target and stock up, lol. They always run out of them fast.
- I am grateful to my best friend who invited me to take a walk in the park and we found some pinecones for a DIY project. (Stay tuned)
Lets take this time to recall the treasures of joy found throughout the week. When we change our perspective and see the good it will create a positive outlook on life. Don’t get me wrong, we will endure hardships, thus is life, but we don’t have to allow circumstances to keep us in the dark. God is full of surprises. He plans the day and plants little nuggets of goodness in those plans.
Gratitude can be simply sitting on the couch after standing at work all day or realizing you have no food in the fridge, but find some leftovers in the freezer or finding $10 in your pants to be able to get gas for the car. Whatever it is, simple or big, the joy is recognizing the good and embracing the moment which makes your heart smile.
I’d love to hear from you! What are 2-3 things you are grateful for this week?

Oh my, so much to be thankful for each day. Although my health is not as good as last year, I am still thankful for the good health I have and things I can still do. I always say, don’t worry about what you can’t do, focus on what you can do. I’m thankful for Muffin who God uses so much to bring joy into my life. I’m thankful for a person that came along and bought me some treats! A little thing perhaps, but a blessing anyway! We should be thankful always. Great post Tiffany!😀😺
